Jamie, I'll die when your mom convinces me to not use a condom when I plow her fat ass and she passes on the AIDS virus she got from one of the Maori she blows for $5.00

Beat it, junior.

LOL.  I like you.

My grandfather met Mr. Griffith in the late 60s or early 70s in a swanky hotel's restaurant.  Andy was alone and eating breakfast.  Gramps walked up to him and said he just wanted to thank him for his great work on television.  Andy stood up, shook his hand, thanked him in turn and asked Gramps to join him for a bite.  He didn't, but I think that speaks to what a down-to-earth guy he was.

I was a little sad he became so liberal in his later years, but I can't say I blame him.  My mentor, the late, great Dr. Mike Eldridge, was as liberal as they come.  He was also as good a man as I've ever known.

It's funny you mention your grandfather having met Andy.

My granddad, still alive and kicking at 90, has this irrational yet burning hatred of Andy Griffith.  Whenever he sees him on tv, he shouts, "That is the meanest god damn man that ever lived!!!"

Once I asked him why he hated Andy so much.  The reason is that some old fool that my granddad drinks beer with swears that Andy Griffith cheated him on some business deal fifty years ago.

This same guy also swears that Elvis Presley stole one of his guitars.   ::)

Aunt Bea disliked Andy Griffith in real life. So I always thought she was a bitch for that and cheered when she died. I always read Andy was a kind person.

Francis Bavier was a royal bitch, and she died in filth (she was a hoarder as well as a Crazy Cat Lady).  I've heard a lot of things, good and bad, about Andy.  I'm sure some of each is true.  He was probably capable of great acts of kindness and service, and at the same time capable of almost unspeakable pettiness and cruelty.

Yes, but when you pursued her, you were on the verge of committing statutory rape.

Ba-zing!!

Unfortunately, half of them were already dead before she croaked.

In Mount Airy, at Snappy`s Lunch counter hangs a picture of Lou Ferrigno and Arnold when they ate there.  Bodybuilding related.

The old Mayberry Hotel had an ice machine that a lot of people didn't want to talk about.  Even more bodybuilding related.

What do you mean the real Andy Griffith? You're Andy Griffin, he was Andy Griffith.

That movie was more of an autobiography than was intended.
