I've only been to that one pro show in tampa. It was so funny the way the camera men kept defending ron's spot in the photog pool.
I was in like the 3rd row - right being a very irritable shawn ray (someone was in his seat, he was sitting with palumbo, doing the MD play by play).
The other photographers were saying "Hey, that's ron avidan's slot you're standing in, you have to move."
Ron wasn't from a magazine, he wasn't a competitor, he wasn't some famous photog who did model shoots. He ran getbig. That was enough to be the boss, for everyone to hold his spot so he wasn't even inconvenienced asking an intruder to move. That's alpha. People taking on the conflict so it doesn't bother ron.
And in the very busy restroom, ron was the only man who used soap and washed his hands carefully. How do I remember such things but can't recall who got 2nd? (toney 1st, dhenry 3rd?) Many of the guys were shaking their junk and walking right out. Ron washed like the show was waiting for him to finish to begin. Maybe that was the case.
