Use of a Cell Phone as a Diet Log
« on: July 06, 2012, 04:00:44 PM »
This has been a godsend.  Whatever I eat during the day, I sanp a picture of it.  If nutritional information is available, snap that too.  At the end of the day you will know exactly what you ate and when and it is a simple matter to record it in your nutrition log.  (Pictured below, new girlfriend's tasty Mango Chutney Chicken and nutritional information- sort of a cheat meal but what the hell).

I'm getting an iPad this month. I know there are several apps for diet/nutrition, and I'd like to explore some of them to see what exactly they're all about.

Does your new GF have a sister? ;D

Yep!

The awesome part is we share similar taste in women.
The shitty part is we live on opposite sides of a continent!

Armani,

Try http://www.myfitnesspal.com    ;)

They have an online diary and an app for phones too.  Easy to use and you can set it up to track whatever you want.  I use mine to track protein, carbs, fats, salt, calories, etc.  Good way to make sure you know what your are getting.
