I remember that.  They used Vince's chest to make the "ultimate bodybuilder" or somesuch nonsense.

And really, they made a terrible choice.  Vince's chest was NOT very good.  Check him out at the '96 Arnold.

i agree with you and i remember when i saw the "ultimate bbr" i felt they just put vinice chest to add more "black" to the photo in order not to be racist  .. his chest was definitely not outstanding but still not that bad to be mentioned here as one of the worst ever..

Vince came to my school to do a seminar and I was chatting with him about his "diet" (or lack of.) The guy LOVES burger king and cola. When I asked why BK instead of some more "prestigious" joints like Wendy's or Hardee's, he said "we don't got those fancy places in the ghetto, son!" Great guy.

His ab-thigh and front latspread were among the best ever , his standing relaxed depending on the year is right up there

Standing on his own he looks ok, it's when he is in direct comparison to others that the problem arises.


Besides two good pictures out of thousands is a percentage game. His front relaxed always looked bad in comparison to Shawn, Flex, Labrada, Nasser and so on. His lats look good but his taper was average to bad depending on year and he just lacked detail from the front.

You would think he's losing but he's not , he's winning by miles just because you prefer the look of someone else doesn't mean anything in the context of what does win and what did win.

I believe that first one is my screenshot  , Thing is, Dorian was smaller that year (96) and it's not just that particular screenshot, watch the finals with him standing next to Shawn and he makes him look like a child. That last shot is absolutely insane. To think people say his taper was bad
