Listen to the Joe Rogan podcast with Sonnen. Chael talks about MMA being fake.Esp Pride. Anyone who just watched this fight tonight could see something didn't smell right. Chael worked Silva in the first round and all Rogan talked about was Silva. Sonnen was foreshadowing this fake fight imop. The gig is now up with the phony fights of pride and this looked like a dive to me.

This fight didn't look fake to me. The 2 that did were:
     
      1) think it was 2nd match Asian guy went down easy holding his rib when his rib wasn't even touched,, and

      2) the Ortiz fight, I thought he won,, even think griffin did he pouted all the way back to the lockeroom before someone went and got him and whispered in his ear " Dana fixed this one"

HA HA HA HA HA  Chael should stick to wrestling, who falls over when doing a spinning back fist/elbow - what a goose!  Anyway like I said, Silva for the win, Chael wont recover!  Good thing the ref saved him, could have been a week in hospital otherwise!

Chael immediately took Anderson down, layed and prayed for the first whole round, Chael tried to do damage but Anderson kept him pretty well controlled of his back.  The second, Chael failed to take him down, Chael then tried a fancy spinning back fist/elbow, Anderson bobbed and weaved, Chael missed with the spinning elbow, stumbled over, and Anderson landed a huge knee to Chaels sternum (some were suggesting it was an illegal knee) but the replay showed it wasn't to the head but to the chest, Chael did get up again but pressure from Anderson seen him wilt to the canvas, Anderson ground and pounded to finish the fight.  Personally, I think it was an early stoppage, but Chael seemed OK with it - Props to Chael, was definately humble and respectful at the post fight press conference.
