When did it become socially acceptable for fat women to wear bikinis?

I was in Hawaii last week and at some local beaches this weekend and I am amazed at how many super fat chicks were sporting two piece bikinis.  Guts hanging out, asses full of cellulite walking around like they weighed 100 pounds.  When did it become acceptable for these cows to dress this way?

Exactly!  Per Wiggs point they weren't getting ridiculed but just acted like they fit in and wearing a two piece bikini was ok.  10 years ago these cows wouldn't even be seen at the beach and if they were there they'd have a once piece or shorts and a tank top.  not today.

I see teenage girls at area malls who sport more rolls than your average middle-aged man. And they usually are wearing midriff-exposing attire, etc.

When I was a teen in the '80s, to see a female peer with a big ol' gut was rare. Now I see these specimens everywhere, all thinking they're sexy or some shit.

Yes, it seems that the shame that came along with being a fatass has disappeared and been replaced with pride or some other misdirected emotion. I remember growing going to school in the 80's and 90's there was "the fat kid" now, 25% of these fuckers are "the fat kid".
