First off, don't mix in the Civil War with the Declaration of Independence. Secondly, I stand by my conclusion regarding the DOI. Here you have the Revolutionary War where people are screaming freedom while in the meantime you are dragging people from Africa...whether sold my tribesman or taken by force to the United States against their will to work in the fields.
You can't cry out for freedom when you enslave another human being. When the Civil War came along, that's when people began to wake up and realize that they were not living the values of the Constitution or the Declaration of Independence along it took another 100 years to get everything right.
BTW, there are no "FOUNDERS" of this country because it was already inhabited by Indians to which were forced off their land, given diseased blankets and marched to death (See Trail Of Tears)
My family has served this country and I've served this country so I have every right to comment in regards to its history because I fucking earned it more than others. Say what you like, but I'm historically correct on the facts.
