Africa is in shambles... i totally agree.. i dont want to live there...but to ignore the fact that there was a Berlin conference and Africa was divided and then systematically  stripped of resources and thrown in to economic shambles.. (lets keep it real... Africa is in fucked up shape but it wasnt because it was run primarily by africans, cause it wasnt...

Africa is not in shambles.  They are simply in a period of civil turbulance and it will not last forever.  They have problems and we have problems....the world keeps spinning.

There has been a lot of progress made.....solar and wind energy is more available allowing more people with the opportunity to get educated to the world and for people in outward areas to have electricy, better agriculture methods are providing food, and the infrastructure and GDP is increasing.   

It will take many years but a long journey is made with thousands of small steps

My peeps were peasants in calzone land and came here penniless. My peeps settled in Harlem and it was only till TJE 3rd generation that they moved to the middle class.   My grandfather worked 10 hours a day in a dry cleaners and my dad as a fence contractor.

There is nothing that can take away from historical fact nor is there any justification for slavery.... NONE regardless as to the state of affairs.  No amount of technology, building structure, or economic status will erase or make up for the atrocities.....even the Pyramids that were built on the back of Jews that were enslaved.


There is nothing good that comes from enslaving someone and treating them as sub-human or in the case of the time during the DOI was written...1/3rd of a human being and I will not argue this matter anymore because it is ridiculous to say that anything good ever came out of slavery....it is against all moral conscience to think otherwise.

Why were Europeans in the position to divide Africa up like that, without so much as a challenge from Africa?  Why didn't all of the 19th century governments of African countries have a summit, organize their troops, and resist?  
 
Why weren't the African countries meeting, to divide up Europe?  Why didn't any of the early African explorers ever attempt Colonization around the world, or take foreign slaves?

Africans are a more Ethical people, and wouldn't do such a thing or?
