Jordan was 28 or 29 in 92... Bird and Magic were both done... Magic had actually been retired a year.

I actually agree with Kobe... I believe the current guys could have beaten the 92 team... I don't think it would be a blowout on any level, but I think they could be the 92 team.

I mean... Of course the current team doesn't have Christian Laettner, so I'm sure that's a deciding factor.

Now in their prime... Of course this team couldn't beat those guys if they were ALL in their prime... but at their state in 92?

Jordan was 28-29 in 92, not 38...if he were 38, what he did after 92 would have put him beyond mythical status, it would have put him into Paul Bunyun, Peycos Bill, John Henry Status.
Plus, as is pointed out, 2012 has no real centers---
the only thing the 2012 team would have beat the 92 team would be in bruised egos.

Of the 12 players on the Dram team, 10 would be named in 1996 to the NBA's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team, the NBA's official list of the 50 greatest players of the league's first 50 years

of the 12 dream team players 11 future Hall of Fame , unfortunately Christian Laettner didnt make the HOF

besides James, kobe , and maybe durant, their is only 3 HOF players on that roster

Lebron would hold Jordan to zero points and Kobe would make Magic look like a sluggish acromegalic. Unless Jordan found a way to "will himself" to victory and do whatever was needed to win while Magic had too much "court sense" for Kobe to handle. Plus "real" centers on 1992 team and "athleticism" on the 2012 team. If you can't see this then you don't understand the game of basketball.

Are you trolling or what? Most of the players on the 1992 team were in their prime, not "old-ass." Jordan Mallone Barkley Ewing Magic. Nuff said. All the players can do now is dunk, nobody can shoot
