The Rock is a legit 6'4"

He stood next to my 6'3" friend and he appeared to have an inch on him.

He's a really nice dude, and seemed genuinely interested in what we had to say for just stopping him in the street.  I was actually the one who had to break off the conversation because I knew he and his entourage had someplace to be.

Every Samoan I've met acted very humble and polite.

I grew up in a place with a TON of Samoans. 80% of em were the most genuine, coolest, nicest people I've ever met in my life. I saw the really beautiful side of their culture, I had a ton of good buddies from the Islands. I even have a piece of samoan art that I actually got tattooed on my shoulder/chest as a sort of tribute to some of my bros i grew up with back home and the amazing artwork they created.

The other 20% were scumbag "gangsters" who tried to imitate the blacks. And the "good" Samoans hated the ghetto thug ones and were deeply embarrassed by the bad name they gave their people.

I never really hung out with Samoans but I used to send a lot of time in Euless, TX which has a large population of Tongans and is a perennial football powerhouse with Trinity High School. You are right though, they are generally just really good fun loving people but make no mistake you wouldn't want to cross them.
