Yesterday they announced a fundraiser by Cheney for Romney.
I thought that was a bad move for Romney/gop to approve of but I didn't say anything....

Now today I see headlines saying Cheney calls Romney the ‘only man’ able to lead the country though a crisis like 9/11?

OMFG...  You can't remotely think this is good.  Cheney's face plastered all over the net in support of Romney days in a row?  LOL NO!!!...  Not to mention we all already had enough of Bush/Cheney using 9/ll and here he is using it again!!!!  It's like his last trick card left to play... It does not look good having Cheney surface for Romney and using 9/11 again!!!... no fucking way.

If the goal is to turn independents against Romney or just have them not vote at all, you're doing a great job of it lol...  What a clusterfuck of bad choices.  They let this happen right on top of the revival of the Bain story?  That's fucking insane.  It's like saying, "if you're not happy with that pie, we can add some frothy shit topping for you, will you vote for us?..."

That has nothing to do with the purpose of this thread.  The only thing I'm doing is calling out shitty political strategy in the Romney camp.  The kind of people who like Dick Cheney already hate Obama with a passion.  Pulling Dick Vader into this now only serves to potentially hurt Romney.  The Romney camp should have told him thanks but no thanks.  The people who would have given money to Romney for Cheney would have already given anyway.  "Vader for Romney" poses more risk of turning off a faction of independent voters.  Flagging Cheney around is just freaking stupid imo...  It's bad enough that Romney is associating with other neocons.  A lot of people will just say "fuck that" even if they are not happy with Obama.  Like it or not, Bush and his clowns left a lasting impression.  Romney should not dance around with these guys or this will become 08 all over again and a Romney/Neocon ticket will lose lol...
