Senator John Kerry has been working on his Mitt Romney impersonation since being cast as the presumptive Republican presidential nominee in mock debates with President Obama, but lately it has been Romney likening himself to Kerry, as he seeks to justify releasing only two years of tax returns.

Romney and his surrogates have repeatedly claimed that Kerry, the Democratic nominee in 2004, made public just two years of tax returns, despite the fact that Kerry released five years of tax documents and consistently released earlier returns during his Senate races.

On Monday, after Romney brought Kerry’s wife, Teresa Heinz Kerry, into the argument, the senator’s office blasted Romney, accusing him of “conjuring up false and convoluted alibis.”

“As Senator Moynihan once said, people are entitled to their own opinions, but they’re not entitled to their own facts,” said David Wade, Kerry’s chief of staff and the Democrat’s national spokesman during the presidential race eight years ago.

“The Romney campaign needs to stop getting their facts wrong about John Kerry and Teresa Heinz Kerry,” Wade added, saying Kerry had put a total of 20 years of tax returns into the public domain by the time he ran for president.

What's the fucking big deal?  Romney just looks like he's hiding shit he doesn't want people to see.  And yes, I know Obama has also not released college records or whatever else.  I really don't get why Obama has not done that either as it also makes it look like he's hiding shit.  I'm actually not that interested in seeing Obama's college records but whatever, some people are.

when you believe someone is guilty until proven innocent, it matters a great deal.

I find it curious that all the ppl that wanted to lynch zimmerman 2 hours after the story broke are the same ppl saying that romney may be a felon and that they cant be sure until he releases his records.

I agree, if there was some illegal shit they would have found it, if obama had some real damaging shit they would have found it.

probably just romney being mega rich and obama writing papers promoting socialistic ideals.

I'm sure Obama wasn't that great s student.....and he doesn't want anyone to know that his grades were subpar...people are still embarrassed about shit like that....As for the felon remarks, I think Obama's people  are out of bounds on that and I hope they stop

there's nothing wrong with outsourcing jobs or making a profit doing it.

the only hypocrisy is claiming to be a 'job creator' when you're a wealth maximizer, plain and simple.

we saw that as gov, his bain experience sure didn't amount to much.

governing is much more similar to president - while grabbing firms and breaking them up is a tad different.

you're trying to interject something that isn't relevant to this argument.  I can't blame ya - my normal trolling ass is very right on this issue.

Being president is a lot like being governor.
Running a firm that CHOOSE which companies to "help" then breaks some up is a lot different.

If the dude was an excellent governor, I'd admit he's probably prepared to be a good president.
If the dude was a shitty guv, I'd guess he will be similar as president.

Mitt claiming "i'm good at business" is true - but it doesn't translate to running systems like a gov does.

On this, i'm right.  I'm wrong about lots of shit, but for this, dude, I'm right - Mitt was an average gov, and great at biz.

You think people get jobs when businesses LOSE MONEY?

part of being gov is the things ive listed.

I think its relevant b/c no matter how shitty a gov he was he was still probably better than obama has been as pres.

and like you said since they are similar it would be relevant.

so please no more song and dance, make with the numbers....

Being governor is the closest job to being president there is.  You know that, right?  Each state is like a mini-America.

Running a company that selects which companies it wants to work with, being able to skirt US tax code, and really being able to just kill those dog stocks (you cant just neutralize 40 million non-productive americans like you can slash up a weak company).

I'll address number if you'd like - IF you will agree that running a state as gov is way more like the POTUS job, than running a firm like Bain.

Its all pretty similar really, you deal with different issues but both are positions of executive responsibilities.

A little blurry to just say "executive responsibilities".   I mean, my local sanitation commissioner also has "executive" responsibilties.

Governor is highly similar to president.   Running a firm that choose companies, strips and exits them, is not.

it's be stupid for me to argue it, honestly bro.  no point.  All we heard in 2008 was "palin was governor, it's just like president in terms of running all systems of a mini-country"...

now it is nothing like it, gotcha... lmao...

As CEO, he gets to pick and choose which firms to take over.  He gets paid no matter what.  Some survive, some don't.  Never his money, never his ass on the line.  He doesn't NEED to create jobs for ppl.

Being pres, he's stuck with all 305 million people.  He's stuck with all the nation's problems.  He can't pick and choose 5-6 states to manage as he sees fit.

When mitt was in charge of all the problems of a state, and a rich one at that... he delivered socialized medicine and anti-gun bills.  You do the math.

face it, yall picked a fucking dog for a candidate, and now it's "hey, he is awesome"

Mitt is an inferior candidate to Obama - Obama has 4 years of real experience now, and all Mitt can say is "I  disagree with obama but won't commit to changing anything as POTUS".

however, mitt getting elected will change some sentiment and will jumpstart business, so I'm cool with him.

I do admire your honesty - you're not kneepadding him as 'severly conservative'.  You admit he's a lib bag of shit from wayback, but you're hopeful hell fix 5% more things than Obama will.

I am voting for him based on TJE 25% chance he does the right thing.
