Nice finds ND...the punisher and the thor clip. I thought the first thomas jane/Punisher role was a little too watered down. This clip looks a little grittier...marvel knights style.

Thomas Jane ' reprising ' his role?

Awesome! Really liked the 1st one with him in it. This is how it should be done.
Brutal Punishment to fit the characters name.

They should just make another Punisher movie like this. Stop teasing us with such short clips. Its not fair. It was awesome though.

Yes, more Punisher-movies, TV-series and less characters with Cosmic Powers thanks.

Thomas Jane is exactly how I picture Jack Reacher to look like, instead we're going to have Tom Cruise (oh brother  ::)) playing that role.

Please fill me in (no homo): what's the deal with this? Are they making a new movie with Jane? I certainly hope so.

I dig the "other" version, but Jane is my fave (I won't even go into the Lundgren flick).

Dirty Laundry was Thomas Jane's "fan film" premiering at Comicon. There apparently was no collaboration with Marvel and are currently no plans for a sequel. He's not called Castle, 'Punisher' is never mentioned and the t-shirt apparently passed lawyer scrutiny.

The movie was very likely partially funded through YooHoo and JD product placement.

Yes, bring back Punisher in the "OFFICIAL" Punisher-sequel with Thomas Jane!

No Dolph, No Ray Stevenson.

Let is continue from Thomas Janes Punisher and go from there.

Thanks for the info, man. Appreciated.

So Jane made this just for his fans? I'd think it proves his interest in making more Punisher movies, that's for sure.

I think Jane would do really well in the role, if the fags at Marvel would stop trying to make it a fucking family film.

I actually really enjoyed the first punisher. Make a sequel with him in it. He fits the role perfect.

This one? I thought it had potential, but it was so watered down....
The Punisher is supposed to be brutal.

Awesome, this is how the Punisher should have been.
I think Jane can make a great punisher.

I think some of the darkness & brutality that should have been in the first installment was sacrificed to devote more time to character development. Even so, it was still a long movie.
With the character groundwork out of the way, I'd hoped that the sequel would permit more of the "direct" violence characteristic of the comic.

punisher was one of my favorite action movies of recent times, great flick.

Mine, too. It was one of the first action movies to come along in a while that was void of heavy CGI and wire/harness work. The limited budget forced them to do things a little more old-school in the action department, which gave it a great nostalgic feel.

I like Thomas Jane in the first Punisher. people said that movie failed, but I had no Problem with it.....the second one wasn't bad either, but thomas was not in it for personal reasons.....Jane is the right guy for that role

IIRC, it opened against some strong competition in theaters - I think one of the Harry Potter's or Lords of the Ring's. It probably would have done better numbers otherwise.

Thanks for the info, man. Appreciated.

So Jane made this just for his fans? I'd think it proves his interest in making more Punisher movies, that's for sure.

I'm betting it is a thinly-veiled petition to get fans interested and talking with Marvel listening.
I doubt he did this job for the paycheck, and there aren't many other reasons to do it.

I think might be interesting if one of the more adult networks like FX or HBO  tried it as a series. Alas, I doubt that will happen.

http://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/truth-journalism-short-teases-spider-598049

Producer Adi Shankar follows up 'The Punisher: Dirty Laundry' short with another fan film about another favorite Marvel Comics character.

We're still a year away from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 release, but if Sony is already considering potential spin-off material, producer Adi Shankar has thrown his hat into the ring, focusing on one of the many other faces in Spidey's own private universe.

Truth in Journalism, written and directed by Knights of Badassdom's Joe Lynch, follows up on last year's Dirty Laundry, the Shankar-produced short that saw Thomas Jane return to the role of Marvel's Frank Castle, aka the Punisher. This time around, though, it's Eddie Brock -- played by True Blood's Ryan Kwanten -- that's in the spotlight, being shadowed by a film crew as he slowly unravels before something … bad happens.

(No spoilers, but the name "Eddie Brock" might be enough to tip the Spider-faithful off to what happens at the end.)

In an interview with Collider, Shankar said that the philosophy behind these web-only fan films was simply to "make something cool" for the fans. "I'm making these for the 14-year-old me," he explained. Well, the 14-year-old in him and many, many other people, I'd bet.
