Planet Fitness - not for bodybuilders
« on: July 19, 2012, 05:04:59 PM »
So apparently there's still douchebags out there who still don't understand it's a fitness environment, there's no heavy weight, very limited basic machines, and no need to wear muscle shirts. Maybe they're too insecure to feel the precense of other fellas bigger than them when at a real gym.

I honestly tried to give them a shot last yr when I was visiting my Mom in NH last summer.
I simply wanted to pay a basic guest fee for the week and leave it at that.
I got this song and dance about how I had to pay 20 bucks a day or get a temp membership pass for 29.95 and would have to cancel by phone if I wanted to end the temporary membership, wtf?
I said thanks and walked out.

The PF where I used to live was like $10 a month, don't see how a gym can't be a total shitsmear for $10/month.

I can understand a pharmacy in the gym but why would you tear down the drug store and replace it with a gym?
That's like taking out the draft beer tap and putting in a bar? wtf?

Never use the word "fitness" on this board...it may put you in time out.

This guy had the right idea:

One of my favorite Youtube clips, along with Sean Hannity being chased by Ron Paul supporters.
