LOL - you want to know the real truth of the matter? If you took out black/hispanic murders - our crime rate would be close to that of europe.

Most of the murders in this country are committed by a small segment of the population.

Take those numbers away and things don't look so bad.

fucking over reaction to guns. A bus driving down the freeway runs into the car in front killing 5 people including a baby. They don't argue about banning buses.

An Amtrack train derails killing 100+ people, no one tries to ban trains.

The fact is this guy wanted to kill people. The guns didn't do the killing, he did.

The fact is if his crappy gun didn't jam he would have killed more people and most likely himself.

It's too late to ban guns when stats show that there are more guns than people out there. Only the law abiding citizens would turn in their guns if gun control was inacted leaving every thugs and asshole with theirs.

Why not? Tens of millions of law abiding citizens have bought firearms like AR's AK's, etc since the The POFS was elected in 2008. Has there been a dramatic increase in gun violence by semi auto rifles commenserate w the massive increase in gun purchases?

i still dont own a firearm , but its on my list of things to buy next year, i was planning on getting Ar-15 this year, but My kegerator broke and had to get that up and running first

My argument is that murders like this are as rare and stastistically irrelevent at people getting struct by lightening in terms of the overall gin violence situation in the USA .
