Author Topic: Would you want to know how/when you will die? (Read 3530 times)

Imagine you were given the opportunity to know the future of your life. Would you want to know? I would either way. If I live to 80 great, then I know to let everything sink in slowly. If I find out I will die at 35 (30 now) then I will fucking party until it's 1999.

No. And I wouldnt change a thing either way. I am happy the way I live now, and will always live this way. There are some things that could been better, like having a GF for instance, but that is of course things Im working on anyways, so that doesnt matter. But I could care less when I die, its all about making the best out of it each day while your still here. Just take it for what its worth.

i try not to think about it much, it runs through everyones brain from time to time imo. we r all gonna take the dirt nap 1 day so i try to enjoy everyday like its my last. the older u get the more the thought goes through peoples minds. im lookin at it real and thinking if i live another 20 years ill be lucky

Depends, if I find out that I'll die at 95...that means I could theorically go play in traffic and survive.
And if I find out that I'll die tomorrow, I might sequester myself in a room and wait my fate....or go play in traffic.

Shizz, I figured we were the same age by the type of posts you write. I to have these same ideas, I think because a few years ago I realized my mortality. I always knew I guess, but never really thought of it until a few years ago, and now it haunts my subconscious. Weird.

well, that is when fate comes into play. But i believe that if any singular person would gain this type of knowledge, their actions would change it. for example, you learn that you will live to be a 100. ok, why not eat junk food?, and start taking risk? Hell, became batman, because no one would be able to kill you. tho maybe you will give cause your quality of life to suffer. and get crippled or something.
