It's still a wood floor - which beats a piss stained mud trampled carpet floor any day of the week. With cleaning, nice furniture and area rugs it will look great. Standard hardwood floors are a dime a dozen. You don't see a parquet wood floor every day.

Not exactly the same floor but you get the idea.



With modern furniture and white walls the floor will look good.

Lol. Keep dreaming. 8) you do know that just because something isn't a hundred years old it can still be high quality and/or custom made, right? I don't have one piece of anything that came out of Ikea, but you can keep thinking that if it makes you feel better.

I am so beastly that I had to have special floors put in my room that were made out of steel, so i wouldnt fall through the floor.

TA, thanks for the advices bro. An oil-based solution and a bit of sanding made the floor look like new!
