Five friends from Santa Barbara, California have been going on vacation every five years since 1982, and photographing themselves in the same location and in the same pose. Their photo project starts with them at the age of just 19 years old...

2012: Time continues to challenge these men. It used to take 30 seconds to get the picture, when they used a film camera. Now they use a digital camera that enables them to check the photo immediately. It usually means retakes are a must “because it has to be perfect,” Wardlaw says.
