After serving 16 yrs out of her 30 yrs sentence, she will be released shortly. It was her 5th parole hearing.

She participated in her husbands kipnapping of at least 6 children, and let 2 of them willingly starve to death in the basement, when Marc was doing prison time for about 6 months.

Michelle Martin will enter a monastery...

Death penalty is not a punishment, its just a moment and its over - these people need to be locked up for the rest of their lifes, they need to wish and hope to see a tree once more - boredom for the rest of their lives - just fucking mental torture and agony.

two girls starved to death in the cellar... starved... that takes a long fucking time and is so painful to starve.

He was in prison at that time, IN FUCKING PRISON and she didn't see it in her to call the cops, why was she afraid of him when he was in prison eh?

The official statement is that she let them starve to death, but there are indications these girls were tortured to death. 2 Pictures circulated for a short while, until the government made sure they were destroyed/hidden. This was late 90s, not as much internet as today.

I mean, Im a pretty heartless bastard sometimes, but how the FUCK IN HELL, can you hurt children like smack them torture them and make them cry?
Its so far removed from anything decent its interesting to say the least that some people feel the need to do that were 99.99999% of humans would have the instant feeling to keep them save hug them and make it feel better.

The only thing I can think of is that he was abused and stuff himself in his youth. But then again lots of people are and they do not become like that....
I read somewhere Dutroux got a nice private appartment in prison with an extended meal menu and that he is very demanding and gets away with it....dunno why, rumours are that some high placed people got some dark secrets left. I wouldn't be surprised if Dutroux suddenly dies from a stroke or something.

so? I got abused as a kid, not sexually but everything else whats on the menu including close starvation - I don't go out crying all day about my past and how fucked up that made me.

It won't bring back the children. But it will cost a lot to the taxpayers. I don't want to pay her watching TV a lifelong. It's just useless.

Same here, used to get beaten regularly by my step 'father' (Was 6ft 6", looked like a fucking viking), mother didn't do much to stop it, he even drove me on a fishing trip when I was 10 and on the way drove near some woods, slowed the car down and said "I could just take you in those woods, kill you and bury you and no one would ever find you". Good times! Other noteable special father and son moments included coming into my room when I was about 11/12 lifting up my bed cover and poking me saying "Hahaha you skinny little cvnt" - he died of kidney failure a few years later lol.
