Tonight on CNN AC360, Anderson Copper opened his 'keeping them honest' segment with Sen. Harry Reid's recent tax allegation about Mitt Romney.

Cooper had CNN Capitol Hill reporter, Dana Bash on to discuss the story, according to Bash, her source can confirm Sen. Reid's allegation. Bash went even further, she said this source also personally knows the Bain source who would have access to Romney's tax record. If this Bain source story is true, then, Mitt Romney is in serious trouble. I'll have more later.

Romney has alreayd lied about his taxes and gotten caught and he still got elected but then he wasn't running for POTUS and he wasn't running agaisn't Obama.

BTW - at the time the controversy was about whether Romney was actually a resident of MA and one of his arguments was that he had always paid taxes as MA resident and it turns out he had not been paying taxes as a MA resident.

Virtually all leading Repubs have called for Romney to release his returns

My suspicion is that Romney was audited (which he admitted) and was found to have been using illegal tax evasion schemes (which we know he had knowlege of becuase he was the chair of the audit committe when Marriot was engaging in these schemes and got caught) and was forced to pay penalties and back taxes

I supect this because of Romeny's statment that he paid all taxes legally owed and NOT A PENNY more
