This is true. If it only took hard work to make a successful business then way way more people would be wealthy business owners. The truth is sometimes actually often it takes hard work yeah, but it also takes a little luck. Could be in the form of timing, government assistance help from wealthy family member or receive inheritance or even inherit a business. Point is there are many extremely hard workers out there who will amount to next to nothing because luck was not on their side and they didn't catch a break.
