advice for a figure competitor
« on: November 11, 2005, 02:39:09 PM »
I have a potentail client who wants do her Figure first show in March '06.  I have trained male clients and have advised several female bodybuilders, in the past.

Here's some stats on my girl...35yr/old, very fit and well toned slightly muscular upper body.  Lower body has that softer look, but with great potential...legs proportionate to height, and small hip structure.  Very pretty face with a natural smile.

My questions...how would some of you go about training her to increase/maintain upper body muscle mass, while getting her legs shredded?  What diet/cardio guidelines should we consider?

Also, we have spoke about slight steroid use, to which she is open and eager to learn of.  (She is concerned of developing male characteristics.)

***Again keep in mind---I basically know what to do for a male competitor, but am looking at some of the different considerations, of getting a female ready for a show.

Thank for any and all advice.
