I dont really think at this point its about bringing back jobs. That goal is a little further off for the time being. At the present time the goal is to get businesses to take on new projects and hire ppl to complete those projects.

Getting jobs from overseas back to the US should be step 2 as it may take a little bit more time

No... and Romney will have anyone start new projects.

Because businesses do that when the FEEL THE NEED to... not before... not after.

lol, now you sound like Obama.

We havn't even slowed down the rate we're dumping American workers for slave labor overseas and you think we need to wait on that?  What new projects are you even talking about?  Stuff Obama was talking about?  Oh you probably mean new business that will happen when the rich get government off their back and even lower taxes... of course most of that will have to utilize that overseas slave labor wherever posible if they want to stay competitive so we won't see much out of that.

Sorry, we've waited long enough on this and it's clear government, dem and republican have solid intentions of not dealing with this.

LOL to think that businesses arent effected by factors like not knowing what their labor costs will be, what there financing costs will be, what their tax liability is and factor things like that into projects is ignorant beyond belief.

Fact is businesses take on projects they feel they can make money on. When they take on new projects they NEED to hire new employees especially seeing as most companies at the moment are stretched so thin as it is.

provide stability and a business friendly enviroment and see what happens.

Where did I say we need to wait?

I said it would take a while and it will, you think companies are just going to abandon overseas assets overnight?

The plan is way overdue but once the plan is put in place it will

1) help to slow/stop the flow of work going overseas
2) bring jobs back some right away, others slowly and some will still stay overseas.

LOL the business projects I am talking about are projects from existing businesses as well as new businesses.

Well first you said it's not about bringing jobs back and then you said "That goal is a little further off for the time being." but you're asking me where did you say we need to wait? lol, ok....

If steps are not taken to do something about it, China will benefit from new business much more than American workers.  If we get America back to work, they'll have money to spend, that'll hook us up.  Just apply whatever needs done equally so it's a fair game for buisness.  This isn't going to happen though...  Politicians are not going to touch that.  Romney won't and neither will Obama.  The rich have actually done fairly well out of the way things are working now and I don't think they really give a rats ass about the working class.

my point which obviously was missed was that even if something is done NOW the results wouldnt really be felt for a while.........

Our points are basically they same dude, I agree by getting Americans back to work it will help us all.

The point is getting get jobs from overseas back to the US wont happen overnight even if legislation is passed tomorrow.

Start by helping to provide businesses with stablity and incentives to get businesses hiring here and then work on getting jobs from overseas back.

Glad we're on the same page.  I didn't get your point because that's not what you said in your first reply.

I do not think nor did I suggest that it would happen overnight even if steps are taken now to correct this major malefunction.

No steps are being taken and it's not likely to happen under Obama or Romney.  That's my clear point.
