The soccer tournament is just horrible. C-teams playing, the organizing is lackluster, the referees don't seem to know what they're doing, few thousand watching compared to a billion during the world cup...no-one fucking cares, it's atrocious. This is the worst example, other team tournaments aren't this bad but just kill this thing, let it out of its misery.

Women's soccer has been solid with some great matches.  Today, it's France vs Japan.  Who the fuck cares about the USA's game?  Ms Ennis made the games for me like Flo Jo did when I was a kid.  And Brasil's women's indoor volleyball team is surging at the right time.

i swam competitively from age 4 till age 12, and taught swim lessons from age 15-22. i tried pllaying water polo for the junior college i went to.. damn. youve got to be one hell of a swimmer. one thing ive never been good at is treaading water using my feet , the "egg beaater" kick..  in waater polo youve gotta be able to do thatt in your sleep..  very very tough sport.. i stayed through one whole practice.. never went back again..
