so i got a pm from a member asking me to outline my diet. so i itemised everything i ate today
2 scoops waxy maize/ bcaas centred around my workout
1/2 pound lean ground beef with 2 small white potatoes post workout (i train fasted)
6 whole eggs with a large baked yellow potato
1/4 pound lean ground beef with 2 small white potatoes
2 large steak burritos from quesada
1 medium dairy queen skor blizzard
1/3 large bag of potato chips
1 cup of vanilla ice cream
1 whole pineapple
1 pound red grapes
now, im not following a diet here, these are actually the foods i felt like eating. if i wanted pizza instead of eggs and potato i would have had it. i just wanted eggs and potato for some odd reason. i actually like it. i also said in the pm, i have been hungry for about 9 days now- my appetite has increased dramatically for some reason- my drug intake and training has remained the same. for about 4 weeks before that, i was eating maybe 2-3 times a day. using the same compounds training the same way- i just wasnt hungry. i think the body goes thru very definitive growth phases- i dont think he body grows constantly all the time, despite the stresses we put on it, and chemicals we take to make it grow. i think it actually takes a break from 'growing', and thus the decrease in demad for calories. then when it is ready to grow, the appetite increases to allow for the cals necessary to facilitate this.
im sure you've all experienced blocks of time when you just had no appetite, and the blocks when you couldnt eat enough- and in my case it seems to very cyclical. you thought when you werent hungry you might have been over training maybe. or maybe your body was taking a break from growing. listen to your body- give it the cals it wants when it wants them, and dont give them when it doesnt. it will tell you what it wants. when you use a traditional bbing diet forcing yourself to eat every 2 hours no wonder so many guys who trains seriously get fat- myself included- the body didnt need or want the cals your forcing into it. and then the starve themselves when they are hungry cause they are afraid to go past their 'calorie ceiling'- guys who compete- when your appetite was highest ever notice thats also when you got the flattest and stringiest and weakest when following your prep? fuck man, it isnt coincidence. i only just reaiised this just now as i was typing.
i went thru all that. no wonder i got so flat and stringy during my preps when i was starving- and no wonder i had a hard time losing that little bit of stubborn baby fat when i was forcing food into myself my body didnt want.
so for all you assholes (yes dklent im talking to you) instead of sitting running your cockpocket about 'proof', do yourself a service and try what i just outlined for a month. do 20 min of treadmill work post workout at 4mph on a 6.5% incline. then come back here and fucking apologise to the mighty 'no one' and TA and thank us for changing your miserable lives for the better.
