I don't know about that. There's a much broader skill set to being a WR than being fast in a straight line and catching. There are plenty of good WRs who don't have world class speed, for example, and plenty of really fast ones who never amount to much in the NFL.
Bolt for example is not on the level of his peers for the first 50 m or so of the race, but his top speed is so tremendous he makes up for it in the second half. How often does a WR even run more than 50 m? In other words, would his speed even matter in football? Justin Gatlin (Olympic bronze medalist and gold medalist in 2004) tried out for several NFL teams when he was on a drug suspension a few years ago and ran the 40 in like 4.45 I think, which isn't really remarkable by NFL standards. Track is mostly about "who's fastest in this particular set of conditions" rather than who's fastest, period.
