. Kazmaier got #849 in a singlet, and others have gotten that raw and with good depth too. Still a strong number for all but a top few.

No wraps, wide stance or ridiculous suit.

Kaz is just in a singlet there, it's not a squat suit, those old wraps didn't give a lot, so it's still close. But it's still a ridiculous number for all but a few.

Same with the press, no suit, arched back, wide grip, none of that shit. Just lower it and press.

Probably helps keep their knees from leaving their legs.

Those old 70's - 80's wraps, maybe 15 -20lbs or so. The new ones usually #50-60.

Just a tiny belt. Not even a powerlifting belt. With knee wraps, suit, proper belt AND powerlifting training, this guy could lift 1000lbs

It's really 320 kg. And all equipment sucks, no matter how little they help.

Double chin of peace Behdad is already stronger than Rezazadeh was at the snatch lift, and probably will be too at the CJ. Dude is writing history right now.

Behdad Salimi's narrow stance and ease with the weight makes a world of difference. Also, check out the belt Behdad is wearing and the fact that there are no spotters in sight. Upon completion of the lift, he casually walks and racks the weight. You are comparing a world class athlete who's 22 years old to this guy?

Why do I keep reading this comment? To maintain a reasonable arch during pressing movements is advised from several standpoints. And, yes, anyone who knows how to press knows this.

Yes, because helping an athlete stay injury-free is plain dumb, right? Here's a lesson: Not all support gear is multi-ply crazy shit.

Modern wraps wrapped "right"? Perhaps 100 pounds.

Oh, and to the thread subject ... wrong. VERY wrong.
Perhaps have an ounce of knowledge before making yourself look a fool.
P.S. The lift in the clip is crazy awesome.
