In Swedish I believe, but amazing plot that grips from word go. (no homo)

I must say, "The 9th company"

Movie is about USSR's war in Afghanistan.
Very good and touching film about men who sacrificed so much for peace and justice.

City of God

Le Cercle Rouge is a top notch old crime crime along with Le Samurai.

Takeshi Kitano has some great ones with my favorites being Hana Bi and Kikujiro being my favorites. Outrage and Brother are a good start if you're just getting into them and you want a lighter film.

Un Prophete is a great French Arab crime film.

Joint Security Area

Korean Film. Very good story line. One of Tarantino's top 20 Films(American or Foriegn) in the last 20 years.
