It's hundreds of thousands and you have to get invited. Just having money won't get you in. On top of the hundreds of thousands, you're obligated to throw money into the till when ever asked. And it literally can be in the millions. The list of people that belong are so wealthy, even millions of dollars is just pocket change for all of them. To this day, there are even some pro golfers who have never played the course because they've never been invited to play even just as a guest. The members are so rich, that they were upset with the TV sponsors going into a 4 day Masters event because of too many commercials so they dropped 99% of the sponsors and basically went almost commercial free for the entire 4 days of TV coverage. Just a couple of minutes of commercials for every hour broadcast. Basically unheard of.

Not true at all.  Augusta is one of the more affordable exclusive private clubs, as far as dues, initiation, etc.  Getting in is the problem.

I stand corrected on the initiation/dues ;) wiki has it listed anywhere from 10 to 30g's

Here is a 2004 USA Today list of Augusta's members

Augusta National Golf Club members list

The Augusta National Golf Club membership list obtained by USA TODAY covers a time frame within the last two years. The membership list is fluid and changes as members resign, die or leave the club. USA TODAY did not include those identified as former or deceased members.

Mrs. Rice is a politician, right ?

How in the hell does a politician have millions of dollars of wealth  ???

Politician should be a servant of public, servant of his country. Minimal payment should be given.
Politician is not politician for money - but to change ones respective country a better place, or change the world. To make a difference. Not for wage.

IS there any non-millionaire congressman in USA?
If not (which I believe is the case), how in hell they represent their voters, which definitely are not millionaires - not even in USA (though Musclecenter might believe so). I call Corruption and bribery.

Some of the wealthiest people in Washington are the same people who bitch about how much the "rich" are paying in taxes. Biden, Polosi, Reed, Wrangle, Feinstein, Kerry, etc, etc, etc

Yes.
And I'm not saying it's just in America. Definitely the same in many other places. But it sticks out the most in US as for example the campaign budgets are by far the biggest in the world.
There's just no possibility for "normal" citizen to become congressman there.

In Finland there's AFAIK 2 or 3 out of 200 MPs who are millionaires. Practically anyone can get in parliament (, as was shown in last elections).

Why the hell do you think people get into politics in the first place, because they want to help the downtrodden? lol

After politics the big paychecks come rolling in, speaking engagements, book deals, gets to sit as chairman on some corporation etc.
