Obama Fundraises with Maker of Pro-Drugs 'Stop Snitchin' Video

This evening in New York City, President Obama will be fundraising with "NBA heroes," according to his spokesman. Those "heroes" include Michael Jordan (who is also a failed baseball player), Patrick Ewing, Alonzo Mourning, and, perhaps most interestingly, Carmelo Anthony.

Anthony helped make the pro-drugs YouTube video called "Stop Snitchin."
 
"Denver Nuggets star Carmelo Anthony is featured in an underground DVD that is circulating in his hometown of Baltimore, Md," the Denver Channel reported.
 

The DVD is called “Stop Snitching” and shows alleged drug dealers talking about what happens to people who cooperate with the police, and Anthony is standing next to one of them.
 
He is also seen on the DVD talking about his Olympic bronze medal and saying that he threw it in a lake. The man he stands next to later goes on to tell how he would take care of snitches by “putting a hole in their head.” However, Anthony does not appear to be taking part in that portion of the discussion.

Obama to Play Basketball Tomorrow with 'NBA Heroes'

President Barack Obama will play basketball tomorrow night at a fundraiser in New York City with "NBA heroes," according to campaign press secretary Jen Psaki. The "heroes," one assumes, is a reference to the "Obama Classic" starring Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony, Patrick Ewing, and Alonzo Mourning, all of whom are expected to be at tomorrow's fundraiser, according to a previous campaign announcement.

Pressed on whether Obama planned to play basketball in NYC on Wed as part of a campaign fundraiser, Psaki initially played coy, saying she wanted to keep some things under wraps.
 
But she said, "the president does love basketball."
 
When asked about signs that Obama had a slight limp, Psaki said, "I feel pretty good about how the president is going to play tomorrow. He is playing with some NBA heroes."
 
Further details on NYC events: there is a dinner, at $20,000 a head, for about 120 people, and two earlier fundraisers: autograph signing event at $250 a person, and the aforementioned basketball skills camp.

Garbage article....the idea that you would associate Obama with the Stop Snitchin videos is one thing but Carmelo Anthony didn't even make the videos or had anything to do with them, they were done by a guy name Rodney Bethea who is doing 20 years in prison for those videos.  Carmelo thought he was doing a rap video

No, he thought he was helping a friend do a rap video.  He didn't know it was going to be a Stop Snitching video....the only thing he said on video was talking about throwing his bronze medal in a lake overseas and that's it.....he certainly far from being the guy who made those videos.

(Reuters) - With a nod to his basketball star host, Michael Jordan, President Barack Obama used a sports analogy at a fundraiser in New York on Wednesday to describe the election campaign and his opponents, who he said played "dirty."

"I can't resist a basketball analogy. We are in the fourth quarter, we're up by a few points, but the other side is coming strong and they play a little dirty," Obama told a group of supporters, saying his team was ahead but had some injuries.

"I'd say there's about seven minutes to go in the game. And Michael's competitiveness is legendary, and nobody knows better than Michael that if you've got a little bit of a lead and there's about seven minutes to go, that's when you put them away."
