For me it's not a number thing it's a capability thing. i'd rather live until 60 still able to walk, talk, lift, drive, interact with society than live to 100 spending 10 years drooling in a chair trying to recognize my kids faces.

Forever is not desirable , eventually one would suffer from a bad case of existential ennui.

I think three or four hundred years is a good number, it's enough to do anything I would ever want to do.

Well let's pretend medical science made a pill that was $$$ like $300 a day or something, because there is no $$$ in a cure, that made you never get sick. The only way to die is by being shot, accident, etc. Would you take it?

My grandma on my dads side died about 2-3 days shy of her.100th, on.my moms side my grandmother died at 96 my dads sister is still alive and well at 85 dad died at 54 my grand father died at 68. Both smoked, drank and generally didn't take care of thwmselves. We have no heart disease or cancers that run in either side of my family. Long story short, I'm hoping.to at least 95-100.

I'd like to live as long as is possible. There's nothing waiting for me when I die. So all I'll ever experience, is what I experience in life. No matter how long or short that is.

I'd rather feel pain, sorrow and grief than be dead...at least I would be alive to feel something. I'd rather be shitting my pants in an old age home, drooling as I watch Matlock re-runs...better than taking a dirt nap and ceasing to exist or even knowing that I've ceased to exist.

Although, no matter how old I am, I plan on getting in a few daily beers, have a peek at 20 year old college girls at the mall, and making people hate me. It's something you don't lose with age, so it's a good long term plan.
