And they are in turn buying politicians to keep us there? Wouldnt surprise me... just the sheer audacity of it is whats amazing, that our government can keep sending americans to die for over a decade, for profit, never even having to give the public a reason. There are companies which employ thousands of Americans to do work in that region.  Just the contractors in charge of doing laundry for the various military braches get millions for doing a week's worth of laundry.

Now consider the many other contractors that are present in that region and you can imagine how serious business becomes when it is also the driving force behind the employments of thousands of Americans.
