Wyoming?
« on: September 05, 2012, 07:47:35 AM »

Can I ask to the good people here some information about this state?

Of course nothing that can be found on wiki or similar but something really interesting: how people are, particular places, interesting things/fatcs, etc etc

Wyoming is an extremely beautiful place.

Especially Jackson Hole!

Mountains....clean air.....great sleeping weather too......in the summertime it will get to 85 degrees....and at night it will drop to 58-60. Great river rafting on the Snake River. If you are an outdoorsman.....This is your place!

Very lovely part of the USA.

You can buy a parcel of land that is hundreds of acres in size for the same price as a cookie cutter home in Cali.

my dream would be to do so in future, but first I'll go there 3 or 4 times on holidays to see things with my eyes.

Cold, windy, water scarce just like any other western state, pretty country though. I liked New Mexico better but water is a deal breaker.

Which are the cons in your opinion?

I think of getting there for the beauty of nature, for tranquility, look for an outdoor job.

My concern is about people acceptance towards someone which comes from outside US, and also because many italian have a bad rep abroad, sadly.

If your worried about people's "acceptance" the more middle of the country you go the more "good ole boys" it'll be. Go somewhere it doesn't snow like California, plus bodybuilding friendly :D. I personally think San Diego is the best city in California. If you want a cookie cutter answer here goes: if you want a faster life move to So cal, if you want a more normal life move to No cal. If your rich move to la jolla (i like it better than newport). If your gay move to SF. If you like it wide open and nature move to Sacramento or further north. California's huge take a few trips and feel it out.

Big plus football(nfl)comes on at 10am on Sunday's, and you will always be able to catch your futball(soccer)at a bar when there's games ;). Nobody cares about race there either you being from Italy wouldn't be an issue like it could be in other states

Oh yeah one more thing it's always sunny and only rains in jan and feb

Sorry, but after living in California, I would NEVER move there. Especially with the whole state going bankrupt now. Only positivie thing Cali has is weather and women, which you can find many other places that don't involve dealing with Cali's shitty monetary policies, politics or pretentious people.

Horrible advice to move to California.  One of the worst economies of any state.
