Did Clinton lie?
« on: September 06, 2012, 05:56:37 AM »
Did or didn't Obama remove the work requirement for welfare recipients?

Did Obama modify it in such a way that rendered the work requirement null?

Yeah, I know there was a thread on it somewhere. So what.

  Bill Clinton, lie? Noooooooo!

And I never thought I'd say this, but compared to the meandering puppet we have now and the Neocon termite who preceded him, Hillary might be a decent choice.

CNN and MSNBC are acting like everything being said at the convention is the truth. Where are their fact checkers? Did they get laid off after the RNC?

There have been other lies spewed. Such as that the Romney plan is going to take away Medicare for anyone over 55. That the GOP wants to Double down on trickledown. No, what they want is the government out of business and health care.

That Bill line about the Dems believing that "we're all in this together" i better than "you're on your own" is just another way of saying that government is going to be involved in your life whether you like it or not. The dumbest line of the speech was the one where he claimed that Obama was committed to constructive cooperation. LOL!! Really. Since when?  To Obama "constructive cooperation" means my way or the highway.

He didn`t.  Its a common myth.  Work requirements are still strict for TANF.
