I talked to a female nurse who used to work at Rikers. She said that there were an inbelievable amount of diesel men who would have sex with other inmates, and had some of the beautiful women come and visit them. They were "double dipping", and their women didn't know.
She also told me that many times they had to sew men back up due to being torn. ("big Ds in the ass is bad for your health")
Can you imagine the self-reflection that goes on in a nurse's head? They've studied hard in school, only to wind up as the prison nurse sewing men's rectums back together after a shower rape. And this isn't a once-in-a-while thing...it's the common malady amongst your patients.
No saving lives, or helping deliver babies. Nope, just stitching butts back together after vigorous non-consenting sex in a prison.
So much for that high school guidance counsellor saying "yeah, study science and become a nurse...it's a good, clean, respectable field".
On the flip side, if you're married to this woman, you pretty much can get away with anything. There's no way you'll look as nasty or do as nasty a deed as her patients. The woman would have to have the patience of Job.
Man: "hey sweetheard, I'm going to be late. We're going to watch the Sunday night game here at Mike's house. Yeah, I know...three games in a row. But it's the Giants!"
Her: "ok honey, just don't be home too late".
Her: in quite repose, thinking to herself..."please don't get anally raped at Mike's house...just bring home some chips and dip and I'll be happy"
