Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan won't answer the most basic questions about their tax plan.

Tax rates are at historically low levels already.

Whether by design or by cynical politial calculation, Obama kept the Bush tax cuts in place till after the election.

When Jimmy Carter was elected, top tax rates were 70%. Reagan could cut them to 50% and be a hero. Today they are at 35% maximum. Except LT capital gains and dividends at 15%.

What can Romney do...can't go much lower.....

Ryans original budget had Cap Gains and Dividends taxed at @ 0% or very close

On the other hand, Simpson/Bowles wanted both Cap Gains and Dividends taxed as ordinary income which for someone like Romney would be 25% or whatever the top tax bracket that Simpson Bowles had in their plan (think it was 25% or 28%)

Besides being on every side of every issue Romney is also a f'ng disaster on foreign policy (see his last trip where he made an ass of himself every time he opened his mouth). This guy has no core values (other than pure personal greed) and I can't seem him making good decisions for this country in either foreign or domestic policy.

He cant fix the economy but he sure can destroy it. Just start spending big time and he will make us "poorer" in a hardbeat. He certainly has the power to do this.
