Low lat insertions are the best anatomical feature a bb can have in my humble opinion.  It lets you blow your waist up with insulina and GH and still have the appearance of a v-taper.

A large portion is due to posing improvement.  Butt high and back, shoulders low and back, waist forward.  Ideally, the bb makes himself into a banana shape when looked at from the side.  Amateurs don't do this well because of how unnatural (and feminine) it feels when doing it properly.

It's about creating illusion of width by artificially shrinking height.  It's also about creation illusion of larger muscles with smaller waist by pushing muscles closer to the audience while keeping waist further away. 

Dennis' body might have made improvements between these shots, but any real improvement is a far less contributor to the difference seen between these pics than his posing.

lat insertions, are overrated, dennis james was a top 6 olympia competitor in his prime, and won a few pro shows. Dexter Jackson had high lats, he became mr olympia. Dennis Wolf is top 5 mr o as well, and a huge mofo with one of the widest backs.  Orville Burke was another guy with high lats. What's your point, twink?

It was going to go sooner or later because of your genetic propensity. Yates, Coleman and Cutler probably did more sh!t in one year than you ever did, but they kept all their hair. My question is why does that genetic propensity exist?

off the top of my head, (no pun, ok, pun intended)  production of the 5alpha reductase enzyme causes the body to convert testosterone into dht.  this causes male pattern baldness and benign prostate hypertrophy
