Star Wars reference.

Best part of the movie IMO.  The first half-minute of the battle over Coruscant was pretty sweet, too.  And the Mace/Sidious duel was OK but I still say Palpatine partly threw that fight for Anakin's benefit.

He's one of the idiots that have been brainwashed by the supplement industry and bodybuilding.com. He thinks he needs a pre workout drink, intra workout drink, post workout drink, weight gainer drink, and a solid meal 30 minutes after. Basically, he takes in too many calories.
it cant be just that..he also obviously dont know how to train. What the fuck is he doing in the gym ? how many hours a week does he work out? What does he do for exercises? HOW the f in hell does he manage to train yet build no muscle mass whatsoever? Looks like the only muscles he has are quads and calves, but it might be entirely genetical as he s a fat short endo.

Ron Harris trained with him once and taped it for MD. The kid seemed nice, just a little slow.

Well, at least there's evidence that Genova actually trained. Albeit it can't be seen in his physique. Goodrum stepped onstage without touching a weights.

So I'd say, Goodrum.

I honestly have to give credit where it's due:  in his last contest, Vince was a good 10-20 times better than Genova.  Vince wasn't in contest shape but he was much leaner and showed a lot more muscle.  Jason was pale, fat and the only way you might even guess that he lifts are his calves -- maybe his arms, too, but his shoulders, back and chest belong on a seventh grader.

I had good conditioning...but not enough to win a NGA pro qualifier but I didn't have any expections.....I simply wanted to prove to everyone that I was a serious competitor and that I was willing to bleed a little for the game.

The key thing I did was not the training or the supplements as I actually trained more conservatively and practically used very little supplements but it was the diet.  I was eating mostly fish and spinach, very low carbs, and a gallon of water a day and that huge caloric reduction allowed me to drop all that whale blubber I was carrying.  If Genova does the same then he'll get much better results

And I agree. Vince looked much better in the latter part of his illustrious career or perennial last place finishes, but delusions ran high in him when he started out.

Jason Genova's post-contest interview

It's a shame he didn't get better reward for his efforts.   I hope he can shed the last of the fat for his next contest

I have been around bodybuilders religiously for the past 10 years and the biggest lie in all of bodybuilding is how much carbs they eat. Everyone lies about this, I mean everyone. It is a trend, everyone says they eat yams, oatmeal, rice etc and they always claim numbers between 300-and 400 grams per day, but the truth is they starve themselves, bodybuilder have the worst obsessive compulsion disorders and when they think they are lagging they simply starve themselves. I know 100s that compete and they always end up with no carbs then when you ask them what they eat during dieting they lie and claim all kinds of carbs. So here you have a naive kid like Genova who probably eats 300 grams of carbs right till contest day, go figure.

Actually no, you can see how little of them I eat on a daily basis.  I agree with you on people lying on a daily basis about how much they eat.  Lots of big numbers and little to show for it.

So is this guy not playing with a full deck of cards? Serious question.  No muscle, no cuts and no tan.  He certainly doesn't look like he's all there going by his facial expressions.

Bump for answers.  Is he retarded? ???

Vince looked better than Genova? No, no, absolutely not. Structurally and development-wise
Genova is much better. Vince has muscular calves and that's it. And I bet Genova is much stronger and has done a lot more "real" training as well, as Vince doesn't look like he does "normal" weight lifting. Both at real competition bodyfat and it's not even close.

What's disturbing is the people using him for laughs.

This gus is 27? Doesnt have other things to do besides chasing a pipe dream? I mean like does he have a job? Any responsibilities at all family etc? If anything he should consider powerlifting, in some of his videos he has displayed some serious retard strength.
