That would be too much for the Arnold Classic to pay.

That car runs for about 240K - 250K.

The winner of the Arnold Classic gets 130K + a Hummer (30K) = 160K tops.

An E63 with all the fixings (options) would probably top out a little over 100k.

I don't think that they give Hummers away (maybe the judges do) anymore as they don't make the H2, and H3s anymore.

Seriously, since Arnold is into German cars, I think a Porsche or Mercedes E63 or M5/M6/M3 would be a good addition and a good way around the "Arnold Classic can't give more than the Mr.O" rule.

Even if that were the case, that Mercedez that Park park posted up is worth between 240K - 250K.  They wouldn't be able to cover that much for the winner, let alone even pretend to give him a prize amount.

Assuming that Hummer costs 50K, combined with the 130K prize money for the winner, it would still be only 180K, still short by 70K in order to just cover the car's cost.

I found that 30K value online when searching for the price of a Hummer.

To be honest, I would not pay a single dime for that disgusting vehicle.  It serves no purpose especially if you live in a heavily populated metropolis and aesthetically looks terrible.

I was guessing...I wonder what Mercedes Benz USA has it listed as.

Based off of that site, which is based in Australia, they have it at 250K Australian dollars.  Since Australian Dollars are worth more than US Dollars, I did a quick currency rate conversion and at 250K Australian dollars, that would translate to 261,869 USD.

That's one hell of a car to purchase!

Strangely, the cost of that car fluctuates from site to site.

In Australia they have it priced at 250K and here on an US site, they have it at a minimum of 155K:

http://www.topspeed.com/cars/mercedes/2009-2012-mercedes-w212-e63-amg-ar108830.html

In Germany, the 2011 Mercedes E63 AMG is priced at 105,791 Euros ($154,174 at the current rates) for the sedan version and at 108,409 Euros ($159,014 at the current rates) for the station wagon version.

The new 2012 Mercedes E63 AMG should be launched after the CLS63 AMG sometime in September 2011, with prices to remain unchanged at $154,540 for the E63 AMG sedan and $158,100 for the Estate. The AMG Performance package adds an extra $12,100 to the base price

A ford focus costs almost twice as much in Australia as it does in the US, that's just how it is when you have to pay heavy import taxes.  Just about everything in Australia costs more than it does in the US, it's not a cheap place to live.

I wouldnt drop a dime on those shit boxes either. My buddy got a used hummer for 27,000 it drives like total garbage. He took it to get certified and it needed like 8000$ to get a safety.

They (top Speed) do it incorrectly, they convert Euros to dollars, whereas you can't automatically do it that way---its Mercedes that converts the pricebecause there are certain things that don't translate, shipping, fees, and other things that may or may not dictate how the price is.
