Big vette fan. Own a current C6. Not a chance I'd buy the C7. These spy photos have been circulating the last couple of months, and I can tell you many corvette owners are disgusted. To me, that's just a hideous camaro knock-off. To change the iconic vette lights is almost heretical! I know this sentiment is shared by many current C6 owners. Oh well, the new Vipers look sick!
Camaro?  Looks more like an Aston martin or ferrari to me.

They fucked up when they went away from the trademark Corvette circular tail-lights.

I have 2009 C6 corvette .. jet stream blue...
I don't like the C7 style .. 2014 is the year that its supposed to come out with the new style..
Almost finished paying off the 2009.. next purchase is a SL55

Corvetteblog.com is a great place to get your corvette below retail cost..
Got mine new for about $8000.00 less than what would pay in texas  ;D. had to pay $1000 for shipping but overall I saved 7000.00

LS blocks are not 'technically crap'.

You are thinking 70s small blocks or something. Gen 3/4 small block v8s are awesome.. they are fuel injection, computer controlled, etc... but simple in mechanical parts. Good on gas for what they are, great power, great tunability.

It's just stereotyping that american cars of today/last ten+ years are like the ones from 20-30+ years ago.

This. The LS engine is pretty awesome. Yes, it's still a OHV V8, but everything inside the motor is pretty decent shit.
1.5mm/1.5mm/3mm Rings (I believe), 8mm (stem diam) hollow stem valves, great port layouts and designs... its a pretty decent piece.

And before the old "OHV vs OHC" issue comes up, OHV is still a great design, NHRA Prostock makes 3hp/ci Naturally Aspirated with OHV, and turns 10000 RPM (500ci Big Blocks/1500hp).

its 3 valves per cylinder, ls1 is even 2 valves per cylinder and ohc.

come on.

the only good thing about them is they get decent mpg with long gearing and transmission gears.

What is 3 valves per cylinder? What are you talking aobut? Ls1 is most certainly not OHC.
Dude, I like you, but it's pretty clear you have no idea what you're talking about.

the ls small blocks are technicaly fucking shit, the suspension is outdated as hell compared to the rest, but atleast these engines dont waste much fuel for what they are.

the l98 sbc and the ls1 were really good at this

Let me guess, you get all your car info from Top Gear;)

Do some more research before you sound like a dumbass.

The c6 was a big improvement in build quality, not quite there yet but much better than the POS build of the c5, c7 should be the one that finally gets it right.

Camaro still falls waaaay short interior IMO is pure crap compared to th mustang
