I'm not tripping about the 3 picks he had last night.  Shit happens.  However, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned about the flutter on his passes this year.  He just isn't throwing a lot of tight spirals so far this season.  It looks like his arm strength is still there.  What gives?

As he is sitting on my fantasy bench and I would like to use him as trade bait for a receiver or RB it is a little concerning.

That being said I think he will be fine over the course of the season. I didnt see the first quarter so I missed all the int's. but i did see him drive down and score the first TD and he looked pretty good on that drive.

ATL was disguising their blitz and coverages really well.  Peyton recovered well but that first quarter was brutal.  Manning says he's still a little rusty so maybe he will sort out the spiral issue.  I hope so.

yea I noticed some wounded duck type throws last night as well.

Im sure he is still rusty and he said before the season that they would likely have trouble on the road in domes communicating so I think they will be alright.

Listening to Peyton between week 1 and 2 he made it pretty clear that he wasn't 100 yet.  Not only with him getting back in the game but getting that harmony expected of winning teams on the road.  The guy is a perfectionist. Nobody is going to criticize his problems coming back more than he will work on it.  That's cool imo.

And nobody mentions this.  With those kind of turnover stats and down that far in the third, the Broncos had the possiblitity of winning the game under 2 minutes left?  And Flalcons played almost flawless.  They had a great well planned defense against peyton and Ryan played perfect.  But even with those turnovers, it was in reach in the last 2.  Not a disater by any stretch.  There's positive shit in that.

Broncos have the 2nd hardest schedule this year and most of that is in the first half of the season so he's being tested hard right off the bat.

True, the Broncos schedule is really tough this year.  I hope Manning lights it up next week.
