When I'm in my 50s, I want a hair style like Gov. Ventura.

I love the guy. We need more politicans like him around...You know, ones that question the government like we're supposed to.

So...um..he's a politician, so he kind of IS the government. Last I checked the government was staffed by politicians. This amazing conspiracy of your's sure is amazingly amazing. Even the politician's who question the government don't know they are part of the conspiracy.

I love how people like you try to ridicule anything labeled as a conspiracy. You know, conspiracies do exist. Humans conspire everyday. That is what we do. Even animals conspire in their own way. The lions conspire to attack and kill Springboks so they can survive.

Don't be so quick to dismiss every conspiracy theory out there.

Why? What would he gain? I honestly think he believes what he says.

Do you agree that the USA went to war in Vietnam based on a lie? 50,000 soldiers died and over two million Vietnamese.

The US leaders knew full well they were being deceptive.

Why do people look up to politicians like very young children look up to a parent or teacher - all trusting and naively. Politicians are usually scumbag liars and in the USA they are bought and paid for whores.

of course he believes what he is saying. thats why i called him a nutcase and not a liar.

went to vietnam based on a lie  um, no. we went to vietnam because the war hawks in the government were being overly cautious about the spread of communism and didnt want russia to gain anymore ground in the world because they were our "enemy" at the time.  and thats exactly what the people were told.   i do remember something about the administration falsifying some information about an attack on american military by the vietnamese ...   just like the bush administration falsified evidence to get us into the iraq war.... but in both cases the reason for the war wasnt lied about.. in vietnam the government wanted to defeat communism and promote democracy and capitalism (for military and philanthropic reasons and also economic ones)... in iraq we wanted to remove on oppressive dictator who was promoting anti-american sentiment and was a threat to our national security because of it... we wanted to bring democracy and freedom.. (ALSO for military, economic, and philanthropic reasons)

its not about trusting politicians or dismissing the idea of a conspiracy outright... its about realizing the power of the freepress, checks and balances, transparancy, etc etc etc..

Most every politician out there spits out rehearsed generalities and focus-group tested soundbites. They don't tell you what they actually believe. What they do is talk while saying nothing. And when they do, on occasion, go off script and something slips out, they backtrack, and spin all the way to damage control specialists and media consultants for help.

I don't agree with a lot of what Ventura says, but I have to tell you that I am impressed about one thing: he isn't the typical politician. Like Ron Paul, he talks openly, without evading the topic and answers questions directly without giving non-answer answers. Regardless of his particular positions on issues and how you feel about his answers, he deserves props and respect for that.

I`d vote for him in a heartbeat.  I signed a petition in 2000 and in 2004 urging him to run for President.
