And these are only the famous people...There are probably thousands more unknowns who died young from the drugs. I know several from different gyms I trained at and one personal friend.

I've known 2 people die of heroin overdoses, 1 drunkard friend fall in front of a train (dead) and have 1 close friend in prison right now for drunk driving and killing a cyclist.

Meanwhile, I've known countless gym rats who use moderate to low doses of steroids and they (we) are all healthy.

I'll stick to 200 mg of test. Thank you very little  :)

Yes, I know at least 6 men all in their late 30's early 40's all had heart attacks one is waiting for a heart transplant.
All abused Steroids, lots of Rec Drugs, Drink, smoking, poor diet & lifestyle.

Not sure what could have caused the problems for them though.. ::)

We are pushing our bodies with one type of Drug,

Regarding the Guerrero in ring heart attack, it was scripted. Well executed by Eddie but still scripted. JBL was one of his best friends outside the ring and had been for many years, he would have broke character for sure if this was actually going down.

Plus weve seen heart attacks on camera before, the cameraman does not stick a camera in your face for all to see. The angles change & focus is placed elsewhere to not expose viewers to it. Kings is a classic example, and dont give me, "they wanted to focus on the match" BS.

That's true. It was the same with Owen Hart's death:

Quote
Television viewers did not see the incident. During the fall, a pre-taped vignette was being shown on the pay-per-view broadcast as well as on the monitors in the darkened arena. Afterward, while Hart was being worked on by medical personnel inside the ring, the live event's broadcast showed only the audience. Meanwhile, WWF television announcer Jim Ross repeatedly told those watching live on pay-per-view that what had just transpired was not a wrestling angle or storyline and that Hart was hurt badly, emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

Here's another bodybuilder's name from my era (1950-1960).  Bodybuilder Tom Sansone died at the age of 38.  He was Mr. America 1958 and Mr. Universe (amateur) 1963.  There were rumors that steroids contributed to his cancer, but his brother denied that.
A funny thing, I once was watching a quiz show that had already started, and there as a contestant was none other than Tom Sansone.  I don't know if he displayed his body before the quiz, but he was dressed in a suit and tie and was in a booth to answer the questions.

Sometimes the production crew is caught flat footed and they are wondering if the performer is adlibbing.

DEAD 61 Years old

Incredibly sad news as it’s being reported that “Rowdy” Roddy Piper has died at age 61. Piper, who was born Roderick George Toombs, passed away from natural causes in his home in Hollywood. He was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma in 2006 but was declared free from cancer last November.

Piper was a wrestling icon in the WWE, having earned the WWF Intercontinental Championship as well as the World Tag Team Championship with Ric Flair. He was inducted in the WWE Hall Of Fame in 2005.

To us horror fans, Piper was most known for his role as John Nada in John Carpenter’s They Live, a role that would turn the phrase, “I have come here to chew bubblegum and kick ass…and I’m all out of bubblegum,” into one of film’s most iconic lines. He was also Sam Hell in the cult classic Hell Comes To Frogtown, a film that I have thoroughly enjoyed for years.

We send our deepest condolences to his family, friends, and countless fans. He will be sorely missed.

Emanuel Yarbrough. Technically, sumo wrestler and MMA, but dabbled in pro wrestling. Heart attack at 51.
