Sons of Anarchy

Man, I like this show, but is it starting to jump the shark?  The season premiere was good, and I was thinking maybe some of the extreme plot lines would be phased out, but this last episode makes me think different. They make these bikers such deep thinkers, and get a little too artsy with it. And, like all this shit would be going down in some shithole town, or that they would be so unlucky as to be in these situations. I know it's tv, and that you have to keep it going, but the way The Wire did it was great. One or two antagonist the while series, and you stretch out the shit over a few seasons, instead of trying to pull character archs over the course of 22 episodes, then repeat. I swear, Hollywood sure knows how to ruin a good thing.

I don't think it's jumped yet.  The trouble was, they had a storyline last year that should have ended with a main character getting killed, but he didn't.  He's done too much shit to coexist with the club.

The only thing that I make fun of is that Jax could have easily just left and lived with his wife making 400k a year as a pediatric surgeon, but chose to stay and run guns.

Funny to see that they've got a real Hell's Angel on the show.

And, what's up with the long silence/lack of dialogue the last five minutes of the show, with some crappy music playing in the background. It's like a shitty montage. Baywatch used to do that shit, and you'd think that they would just shorten the show, it's already 1:08 now anyway.

They should just make a spin off about Happy and the high jinx he gets up to in his day to day life.
