Sergio was something else. Even to this day, nobody can touch him in certain poses. Bodybuilders have matched or surpassed him in size, but nobody combines the mass, shape, and structure that made Sergio "the myth." I'm still amazed when looking at pictures of him

Great thread and pics of Sergio,

One of the things that always impressed me was the size of his forearms, unreal looking, guy was one
of the most gifted bodybuilders for sure.

That tiny head and small waist made everything stand out. Maybe not the prettiest arms but they were massive. A monster back then a monster now.

i think it was Arthur Jones that said if Sergio's bicep's were smaller his arm would measure bigger. he said his low bicep insertion collided with his forearm, so he couldn't get a full contraction to bring out any peak.

yeah ...I'm looking over that nautilus article. He says Sergio's arms were the largest he ever measured at 20 1/8" cold...saying they really had to be seen in order to be appreciated.

sergios arms were more than 20 inhes iam sure . but no matter . remember the story of arnold winning over him in 1972 . the dark room color helped him blend right in . it helped arnold win . as they say . sergio was amazing in essen germany .
