Where I live I can jump in the car and get absulutly anything I need in like 15 minutes, traffic isn't too bad, there aren't very many police on patrol.  There's always a place to park, even downtown.  I'm not some hick in the country, we have a population here of about 90,000 and I think that's just about perfect.

Actually good question - security in Grand central is TIGHT!!!   You go into grand central and they have loads of security w soldiers, dogsm radar, etc.   However - someone wants to get on a stop in harlem or brooklyn and create chaos - EASY!

I am in woodlawn bronx, NY.   We border wakefield, mt. vernon, and deal w a ton a drug dealing, prostitution, burglary, etf.    I take the 4 to go to court in manhattan and brooklyn a few times a week.

My nabe was doing great until 2007 or so.   we had tons of irish carpenters, dry wall guys, hvac guys, etc.   Their wives walked w strollers u and down the streets, etc.   Once Lehmen wnet down, these dudes all went home and we were left w the jamaicans from wakefield and baychester walking in w gangsta lean, gang colors, drug dealing, etc.
