When this story ran in Colorado, they made sure to point out that what she did is not actually illegal. I guess you can actually go out and just try to register republicans or democrats lol... The trick is that if an Obama supporter wants to register with the person trying to get Romeny supporters, they do have to take it but there's nothing illegal about saying you're trying to get Romney supporters registered.
Probably good to know who you're registering with anyway. Kinda silly to trust your registration info will be turned in by a volunteer supporting the other party lol...
