I believe Branch Warren is the most overhyped BB of the last 20 years.

Roelly is up there as well as Wolf.

Thoughts?

Wolf is not overhyped. He was good when he first started on the pro circuit.

Branch has always sucked on the pro circuit.

As for Roelly, who the heck knows. Looks like a ton of potential, but never dials it in.

Everyone says Branch looks like shit.

Wolf looked great in 07 and has looked increasingly terrible every year since.

Nobody even talks about Roelly.

but this has nothing to do with being the most overrated.. at his best he was a great bb even if this best was shown very few times..

Dexter Jackson.

He was rated high enough to win Mr. Olympia. Maybe the best of peers at the time, but no Mr. Olympia in my eyes.

I think Dexter Jackson is always overrated. And pay attention to the word overrated - doesn't mean he's bad. In all the lineups he has been very highly rated and praised, but I think he never had an truly impressive physique. Again, it's not bad. But he was not O worthy.

I also think Freeman is pretty overrated. He's medioker and lanky.

Roelly, Wolf and all those guys are not rated high by many...

Branch is overrated by judges and commentators but no one else seems to like his physique

I think he is underrated.

The muscles sit just right on his frame, not too big, not too small. His calves are weak, I give you that.

I just think that the bodybuilding world doesn't really understand what quality means.

The fact that fans complain about Branch's physique is kind of proof of why Dexter is underrated.

It's a slippery slope... Many guys look good by themselves but size is always predominate, and I just think Dex disappears in a line up. Too small.

Not sure how he is underrated? With his career and all his placing and Mr Olympia you think he is underrated? How should he be rated?

I can appreciate the size thing but geez, it's not as if Dexter is small. The guy is Mr Olympia. He is obviously big enough. I think that if a guy 'disappears' in a lineup, then the judges are being wowed by size too much.

Bertil Fox was much bigger than Samir in 83, but Samir had the 'quality'.
Mentzer was bigger than Zane in 79, but Zane had the 'quality'.
etc etc

Clearly he is 'underrated' if the judges could have placed Branch Warren over Dexter in the Olympia.
