Actor Ron Livingston, best remembered for his roles as Peter Gibbons in Mike Judge's cult comedy Office Space and terrible breaker-upper Jack Berger in Sex in the City, finally weighed in yesterday on the ongoing saga of his local news anchor sister's very public smackdown of a viewer who said her size made her a poor role model for kids.
 
"My sister Jennifer is an Emmy winning journalist and mother of three amazing girls," Livingston said in a statement released last night. "She brings an exceptional dedication to her job, her family, and her community, and has been a role model of mine for many, many years. I'm extremely proud of her."
 
Jennifer Livingston, a reporter/anchor for La Crosse, Wisconsin's WKBT News 8, made news herself earlier this week when she responded on the air to a letter sent in by personal injury lawyer and "fitness guru" Kenneth Krause.
 
"You know nothing about me but what you see on the outside, and I am much more than a number on a scale," Livingston scolded, before turning to the station's younger audience and urging them "not let your self-worth be defined by bullies."
