STFU - everyone who watched last night knows obama got mutilated.

he lost no doubt, romney was very aggressive it seemed, interjecting while obama was trying to speak etc. He wanted to win no doubt, obama came off as passive yet polite not something one should strive for in a debate of this magnitude.

The problem is that its not 2008 and Romney is not McLame.   Oh yeah - did obama even defend his record last night?   LOL!!!!

Didn't plan on watching, but did anyway. I'm don't like Obama, never tried to hide that fact. I hate to say this but I almost felt bad for the POTUS. IMHO he thought he could just mail this in and got dismantled.

Obama, like most of the leftists are not prepared to defend their record on the merits when calling names and having emotional rants is not an option.

That's what the websites reported at first right after the debate.  Headline on Fox News was "No Knockout Blows Thrown".  Now everyone is adjusting their message that Romney won the debate.

Unfortunately, its not a victory that's going to change anyone's minds.  Romney came out aggressive but he really should have been doing this from the very beginning rather than wait right before election day to mount a charge.  Obama has way too big of a lead at this point

Keep dreaming!! Obama is still under 50%. And you have the independents, which you know, good and well, usually go AGAINST the incumbent.

Every news outlet...CNN, Fox News, MSNBC has pretty much called it a draw and that's pretty much the way I saw things.  Romney came out aggressive, Obama played it cool and hogged up the majority of the debate.

I don't think this debate changed any minds tonight and in fact, I really don't think anyone was watching other than the people who have already made up their minds about who they are going to vote for.  Lots of jabs thrown, no knockout punches.  Ugly debate but no real winners or losers.

I didn't even watch the debate live because i was asleep but the first thing I did when waking up was check CNN website and they said Romney clearly won.

Yep. That's pretty much been the reaction across the board as I've been catching up, democratic pundits included. I knew this was gonna happen. I gotta find that post of mine from a few months ago where I called it.

The problem is that obama is never challenged and has a glass jaw.

He is not and will not be prepared for the next two either as obama is a lazy slug who has always had air cover from the media.

Without the teleprompter he is hopeless.

Hyperbole Gone wild

LOL!!!!!   I take it you did not watch what happened last night?

Obama is simply not prepared for people challenging his record.

Shit - I could have mutilated him on stage with his disastrous record of debt, defict, delay, deceit, depression, and despair.

Face it dude Obama is the Empty Chair

It's a lot different when he is faced with someone with a high level of competence. Maybe Oprah or The View can land him a gig when he is retired out of public service next month?

yeah, I only watched maybe 20 minutes of the replay... and I was pretty shocked by a few romney statements.  I'll let the experts call out what was a lie.. but it seemed he wanted to please everyone at all times.

Obama was weak and exhausted.  But he's climing back toward 67% on intrade.  So the impact might be "Romney won the debate..." but everything else he had against him is still there this morning.

I think I read only 2 times in 30 years has the debate changed the outcome, I guess we will see if it happens again.

I see the foreign policy debate as a chance for romney to fall into a trap, like obama in 2008 agreeing to meet foreign leaders in year #1.

Obama can't defend his economic performance, and he was whooped last night.  Romney looked like he'd been at the spa - seriously looked 5 years younger with that epic leanz smirk you get from running ECA stack lol... obama needed coffee and a facial scrub.

On foreign policy, I think obama will be able to rattle off his list of accomlishments - and romney has the tough spot of arguing Neocon Obama.  More or fewer predator drone attacks?  How does romney answer that?  Kill less bad guys?  Or obama's doing it right?

Economy, romney should win that debate.  Foreign policy is tougher.  Obama stacked up a lot of dead bad guys.
